Shipping:

Weather permitting, we will start shipping daylilies mid May until mid July. Iris will be shipped early August. If you are ordering both iris and daylilies they will be shipped together early August, unless specified otherwise. All orders are on a "first come basis". Please try to place your orders and payment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.      

Your plants will be dug, washed, trimmed, normally on Sunday and mailed on Monday AM, Expedited Post (Approximately 5 days). This will normally get your plants to you within the week. Don and Anne's experience indicates that orders to the beautiful west, especially Alberta can take a couple of days longer. However, if you would like Express Post (Approximately 3 days, and about double the cost), please indicate when filling out the shipping cost column.

We have tried to keep shipping costs to our customers to a minimum, including a small digging and handling fee. Most other mail-order gardens that we have checked charge a flat fee plus a charge per plant. We will charge only the flat fee and the more plants you order the cheaper it is for you. I would suggest normal Expedited Post. It is usually fine with all the experiences I have had.

      Daylilies and iris will require separate shipping charges unless shipped at the same time (August).

Substitutions:
It is difficult to redict the season's outcome as our plants are field grown. Making a list of substitutions iwll make replacement decisions easier for us. However, you will be contactedif it is necessary to subsitute.

Payment:
Unfortunately we are not set up to accept credit cards. We will accept cheque or money order. No post dated cheques please.

Remember, keeping with Cedar Ridge Garden traditions, Rural Roots Gardens does not sell tissue culture daylilies.
